Ashley Tisdale, who recently headlined Scary Movie 5 , has departed the upcoming Left Behind , Variety reports. Replacing her is "Big Love" and "Switched at Birth" star Cassi Thompson, who will star opposite Nicolas Cage and Chad Michael Murray in the story of a group of survivors during the first few hours after the Rapture.
Thompson will be playing Chloe Steele, the daughter of Cage's Ray Steele character. After millions of people suddenly disappear from Earth, Chloe wanders America looking to find any remaining members of her family.
Murray will playing the role of journalist Cameron "Buck" Williams in the remake of the Christian-themed movie franchise.
