CinemaCon Video Interview with Chris Hemsworth AKA Thor!

Anyone who has read our write-up on Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios’ presentation at Comic-Con already knows how excited we were to see 20 minutes of Kenneth Branagh’s Thor , hitting 3D and 2D theaters on May 6.

Before we had a chance to watch that footage, we talked to actor Chris Hemsworth, Thor himself, on the press line about which Thor comics he read to decide how to play the character. He talked about having watched an early cut of the film and what surprised him the most, why we haven’t seen or heard anything about Dr. Donald Blake being in the movie, what he’s been doing to prepare for Joss Whedon’s The Avengers and whether he’s been in the room with all the other actors to test out the chemistry....

Is the Justice League Movie Back On?

The Los Angeles Times talked to Warner Bros. Pictures president Jeff Robinov about the future of superhero movies at the studio. Miss Marple to Return to the Big Screen

Miss Marple , the elderly heroine of a dozen Agatha Christie novels, is set to return to the big screen, according to a story at The Hollywood Reporter .

The twelve original Marple novel began with "The Thirteen Problems," the first chapter of which was released as a short story in 1927 and the novel itself published in 1930. The character, Jane Marple, has since appeared in film, television, stage and on the radio.

Details are few, but the article notes that Disney will modernize Miss Marple rather than go for a period approach and that the studio has hired Mark Frost ("Twin Peaks," Fantastic Four ) to provide the screenplay.

American Gods Film Moving Forward

American Gods , Neil Gaiman's epic fantasy tome, is now set for development as a feature film, the author confirmed in an interview with Digital Spy (via Bleeding Cool ).

The book, released in 2001 to many accolades, tells the story of a ex-convict, Shadow, and his navigation through a present-day America secretly filled with all the mythological gods and monsters of ancient history, long since immigrated to the United States.

Though no specific details have been announced, Gaiman says that the rights for the project have just been sold and that he will meet shortly with the new director about his own potential involvement in the project. As for who will be helming, Gaiman only offers a tease.

New Warrior Photos Revealed

Lionsgate recently debuted the new character posters for Warrior featuring Joel Edgerton ( view here ) and Inception and The Dark Knight Rises ' Tom Hardy ( view here ).

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly also includes the following shots (of which we've taken scans) of the two actors and Nick Nolte in the Gavin O'Connor-directed action drama opening September 9. Hardy plays a MMA fighter, trained by his estranged father (Nolte), who finds himself on a collision course with his older brother (Edgerton).

Showtime to Adapt Chew

Showtime has plans to develop Image's hit comic book series "Chew" for the small screen, Deadline reports.

Launched in 2009, the ongoing series is written by John Layman and illustrated by Rob Guillory. It deals with a police detective, Tony chu, who happens to be a "cibopath", someone with the supernatural ability to gain a psychic impression of an object by eating it. Throughout his investigations, Chu comes up against a variety of other people with different food-related abilities.

Production Underway for Clash of the Titans 2

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that production is underway for for Clash of the Titans 2 , which will again star Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson. The full press release follows:
