TV Line is reporting that HBO has decided not to bring back "Enlightened" for a third season. The half-hour comedy, created by Laura Dern and Mike White, launched in October 2011 and ran for two seasons.
The show followed the life of Amy Jellicoe (Dern), a well-intentioned employee of a Southern California corporation who, after flipping out and going to anger-management rehab, emerges with a singular, if at times misguided, mission to make her company more responsible.
